CARTER, Thomas L. Born December 1, 1952 was taken home by our Lord on September 8, 2009 after a long battle with cancer. Tom grew up in Englewood, Ohio graduating from Northmont H.S. in 1971. He was retired from General Motors Truck and Bus after 35.5 years of service. Tom enjoyed motorcycles, riding since he was 16. He was an avid golfer and always had a great sense of humor. Thomas is survived by his wife, Victoria; son, Phillip; stepchildren, Angela and Aaron; grandchildren, Dax, Dane and Adam. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edith and Harry Carter and a brother, Jerry. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at Bellbrook United Methodist Church, 47 E. Franklin St. Bellbrook, Ohio 45305. Interment following at Calvary Cemetery. Friends and family may call at the TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME-FAR HILLS CHAPEL, 5471 Far Hills Ave. at Rahn Rd. from 5:00-8:00 pm on Monday, September 14, 2009.
