RIP Keith,

Keith passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017. He was a loving husband, father and papaw. Keith loved being with his family, especially his four grandchildren. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Keith dedicated his life to public service for many years and retired from the Randolph Township Fire Department and also retired with more than 32 years as a deputy with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office and later volunteered for eight years with the 400 Unit. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Becky (Yates), children, Kari (Dallas) Root of Springfield, Kody (Lora) Lowry of Englewood, grandchildren, Dominic, Baden, Kora, Kylee, mother, Shirley (Lowry) VanDyke of Clayton, brother, Kevin (Lisa) Longenecker of Union, mother-in-law, Mary Ellen Yates of Brookville, sister-in-law, Deborah (David) Hunter of SD, brother-in-law, David Yates of Union, nieces and nephews, close extended family, John (Pam) Woznaik family, Darrin (Lisa) Sweargins, Tom (Dana) Brothers family, Jake (Lisa) Bastian family and all other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Marion Lowry and his brother-in-law, Chris Yates. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood) with Pastor Gerald Miller officiating. Interment with military honors will follow the service at the Dayton National Cemetery. T
