 I knew  her from for Band. She smart-became MD-University of Cincinnat. I hind it hard to belive no misses her.

DR. BARBARA L. EGLOFF

A Mormon funeral service for Dr. Barbara L. Egloff, 39, of 35 East Church St., a Watertown obstetrician and gynecologist, at the Morton Whetstone Funeral Home, 319 Dixie Highway, Dayton, Ohio.

Burial in Dayton Memorial Park Cemtery following the service.

Viewing at the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home, Watertown, and at the Morton Whetstone Funeral Home, Dayton. Contributions may be made to the Watertown Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.

Dr. Egloff died Friday in a traffic accident on state Route 11 near Talcott Falls, just south of Watertown.

She is survived by her husband, Owen M., Adams; two sons, Michael P. and Thomas E., at home; a brother, Michael E. Pusbach, Boca Ratan, Fla.; her step-mother, Mrs. Sue Pusbach, Vandalia, Ohio; and a step-sister, Lori S. Gill, Dayton, Ohio.

Born in Eylria, Ohio, Dec. 13, 1952, the daughter of Donald P. and Shirley Mae Shipman Pusbach, she graduated from Northmont High School in Englewood and received her undergraduate and medical training at the University of Cincinnati.

After completing medical school in 1979, Dr. Egloff served her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Wright State University in Dayton.

She married Owen M. Egloff Dec. 20, 1986 at the United Methodist Church in Carbon, Ind., with the Rev. John McFarland and the Rev. Marshall Hendrix, officiating. Mr. Egloff was a teacher in the Dayton area for a year before the couple moved to Watertown.

They bought their home in Adams in September. She was a member of the Obstetric and Gynecological Association of Northern New York P.C.

Barbara and I spent many days hanging out together.  After graduation we were separated by time and distance.  I recently found out about her passing and her interment at Dayton Memorial Park.

Thank you for the posts.  I was aware Barbara was gone but never knew the circumstances.  Barbara was a brilliant student at Northmont (valedictorian as I recall) and had a bright future.  Very sad to lose her so young.

Susan Glaser (Moll)

Barb was a dear friend. She was on the way to the hospital to deliver a baby when she hit icey roads and crashed. She sustsined a lethal head injury. She had just finalized the adoption of a baby, her second child. I think of her often. It was nice to hear of her being remembered.
